Almost one week ago the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine without cause and without provocation. Ukraine will resist per citizen soldiers across the country. The attack has brought hundreds of thousands of refugees to the Polish-Ukranian border as women and children attempt to escape indiscriminate shelling of towns and villages throughout Ukraine.
The September 11 Foundation has made the decision to provide humanitarian support to Ukraine and those providing services to the pending refugee population which may number more than a million. We are asking for your donations to help us provide food, medical supplies, and technical assistance to those in need right now.
Congress is currently debating aid packages while women and children go hungry and their husbands fight an invading army in their home towns. Our goal has always been to teach the next generation to never forget 9-11 and use the lessons from that day to overcome adversity and challenge, but Ukrainians can not wait for Members of Congress to decide to help. We must help now.

We are currently working with a number of individuals in Ukraine to make sure dollars make it to the ground and are committed to seeing the process through until the end.
