Suprun Lays Wreath At Arlington National Cemetery September 2023

Suprun lays wreath at Arlington National Cemetery‘s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on behalf of September 11 Foundation. The choice was made to honor the thousands of servicemen and women lost during military conflicts after the terrorist attacks on the United States.

The September 11 Foundation board member Christopher Suprun attended the ceremony in Arlington, Virginia, with his nine-year-old son, Wyatt, less than a mile from where he responded twenty-two years ago.

“It is critically important that the entire responder community is remembered,” said Suprun. “It was police, fire, and EMS on 9-11, but the military for years after.”

Suprun Lays Wreath Honoring Veterans At Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a powerful and solemn memorial in Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington, D.C. It serves as a poignant tribute to the countless unknown soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their nation. This iconic monument, often referred to as the “Tomb of the Unknown,” represents not just the United States but the collective honor and gratitude for all unidentified soldiers worldwide.

The tomb itself is a white marble sarcophagus situated atop a hill overlooking the nation’s capital. It was initially established in 1921 to honor the unidentified American soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. The monument’s design exudes a sense of purity and simplicity, emphasizing the occasion’s solemnity.

What sets the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier apart is the continuous and meticulous vigil maintained by the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as the “Old Guard.” These sentinels, known for their precision and discipline, stand guard at the tomb 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of weather conditions. The Changing of the Guard ceremony is a moving ritual that occurs every 30 minutes during the summer and every hour during the rest of the year, involving precise movements and a symbolic act of reverence.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier serves as a powerful symbol of remembrance, reminding visitors of the sacrifices made by countless soldiers throughout history and the collective gratitude of a nation for their service and sacrifice.

Dallas 911 Not Responding

Dallas 911 Not Responding

The City of Dallas has multiple questions to answer about the Dallas 911 not responding after a deaf woman, Zarea Dixon, was found dead in her home when police officers took over an hour to respond to her call for help.

In a separate incident it took more than six minutes to respond to an apartment fire in North Dallas.

Dixon called 911 to report her boyfriend had broken into her apartment along South Polk Street and attacked her with a knife.

An interpreter with Sorensen Translation Services relayed that Dixon had been attacked stating her “ex-boyfriend broke into her house, beat her up and tried to stab her with a knife.”

Dixon provided the suspect’s name, description and date of birth to the police through the translator. She also said he had left her home.

Dixon “declined an ambulance but stated she ‘needed the police,'” according to the affidavit.

In addition to the non response to this woman, Dallas Police has not responded to multiple other incidents.

Additionally, Dallas police never took a report on three students burned by fireworks launched at them in North Dallas.

Dallas 911 Not Responding To Fires Either

At another event, sixty to seventy firefighters responded and saw flames coming from the second floor of the three-story apartment building upon arrival last week.

The fire quickly spread to the third floor and then into the attic space and roof of the building requiring the additional alarms by Dallas Fire Rescue.

Dallas Fire Station 29 is approximately one mile away or roughly three minutes.

Dallas 911 Not Responding

In comments to the media, Dallas Fire Fighters Association President Jim McDade said, “When the first companies got there — there was an enormous amount of fire, probably due to a delay in response,” McDade said.

There were no deaths or injuries, but more than twenty apartments were destroyed and more than one hundred residents displaced.

Slow responses can endanger firefighters. In New York, a firefighter with Brooklyn’s Ladder 170 lost his life last weekend.

A Mercy Flight New York helicopter was involved in a fatal crash Tuesday killing both on board.

Mercy Flight New York

New York State Troopers confirmed that the medical helicopter was on a training flight at the time, crashed near Norton Road, between Edgerton and Ford roads, around 1:00 PM.

“At this point we don’t know why the helicopter went down,” Major Eugene Staniszewski said near the crash site.

The two pilots on board — James E. Sauer, 60, of Churchville, a Mercy Flight pilot and a retired New York State Police civilian pilot and Bell Helicopter employee and flight instructor Stewart M. Dietrick, 60, of Prosper, Texas — were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to State Police. Their bodies were transported to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Mercy Flight New York

Mercy Flight is an EMS provider and a not-for-profit medical transport service that services western New York, including the Rochester region, as well as parts of northwestern Pennsylvania and Canada.

The Buffalo-based service has numerous flight bases around western New York. According to the Mercy Flight website, its flight headquarters is in Batavia, Genesee County. Staniszewski said the involved helicopter was from the Batavia Mercy Flight base.

This has been a hard week for the responder community in New York. Earlier this week we reported on another New York LODD in Brooklyn, New York taking the life of Ladder 170’s Timothy Klein.

Threat To First Family: US Secret Service Exposed

Threat To First Family

Two men were arrested in Washington, DC for posing as federal agents. The situation may have been a direct threat to First Family.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, federal prosecutors charged Haider Ali and Arian Taherzadeh saying they posed as federal agents. It appears they broke U.S. Secret Service security protocols providing agents with apartments, iPhones, drones, and a gun case.

Potential Threat To First Family Member Jill Biden

One agent is reported to have worked on the protective detail of First Lady Jill Biden.

Threat To First Family

In court documents, prosecutors allege Ali, 36, and Taherzadeh, 40, had falsely claimed to work for the Department of Homeland Security. They claimed to be working on a special task force investigating gang and violence connected to the January 6th insurrection at the United States Capitol. They allege the two posed as law enforcement officers to integrate with actual federal agents.

Federal prosecutors said four Secret Service employees were placed on leave earlier this week as part of the investigation.

This news comes as Members of Congress continue their investigation into the attack on the US Capitol which included participation by former FDNY firefighter Thomas Fee.

It is unclear how far this investigation will stretch, but it brings up other internal planned and attempted attacks against the United States by those sworn to protect it. Last year, an active duty soldier was arrested plotting to bomb the 9-11 memorial.

Off Duty NYPD DWI

Off Duty NYPD DWI

An off duty NYPD DWI charge is the latest embarrassment for Mayor Eric Adams and Officer Tomas Garcia.

Off Duty NYPD DWI

Garcia, a thirty-one year old, was sleeping in his personal vehicle at Eighth Avenue and 61st Street when he was woken up by EMS workers around 8:30 AM.

The off duty Garcia was showing signs of intoxication and arrested at the scene.

The officer was charged with driving while intoxicated per police records.

Off Duty NYPD DWI – Latest Issue

Officer Garcia was in the 66th Precinct at the time of his arrest. It is unclear if he has been reassigned or still working patrol of any kind.

Two Pennsylvania State Troopers were killed near Philadelphia in March. That accident has been under investigation for possible connection to DWI.

Freeport EMS Fired Their EMS Director Investigation

Mayor Jim Swartz said of O’Leath’s firing: “I don’t care if you’re a director, you still have bosses and when you are told to do things, you do things.”

State Trooper Anthony Vaccaro confirmed that an investigation is continuing. He is waiting for the results from a third-party forensic audit of the EMS’s books, he said.

In the 2021 letter to local media, O’Leath accused Justin DeAngelis, then a former treasurer of the EMS and Freeport Volunteer Fire Department, of stealing nearly $98,000 and then repaying the ambulance service.
